At Red Go Cab, we strive to provide a smooth and reliable cab booking experience. This Cancellation & Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which bookings can be cancelled and refunds processed for rides booked through our website and mobile application.

1. Ride Cancellation by Customer

You may cancel your ride anytime before the driver has been dispatched. However, cancellation charges may apply depending on when the cancellation occurs:

  • Before driver assignment: No cancellation fee will be charged.
  • After driver assignment but before pickup: A nominal cancellation fee may apply to compensate the driver for time and travel.
  • Once the driver has arrived at the pickup location: Full base fare or minimum charge may be applicable.

2. Ride Cancellation by Driver or Company

In rare cases, a ride may be cancelled by the driver or Red Go Cab due to unforeseen circumstances such as:

  • Vehicle breakdown or unavailability
  • Extreme weather conditions or natural calamities
  • Technical issues with the app or system
  • Safety or security concerns

In such cases, you will be notified immediately, and any prepaid amount will be fully refunded or adjusted towards your next booking.

3. Refund Policy

Refunds are applicable under the following conditions:

  • If a ride is cancelled by Red Go Cab or the assigned driver due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • If you have been charged incorrectly due to a system error or payment glitch.
  • If your booking was not confirmed but payment was deducted.

All eligible refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days to your original payment method.

4. Non-Refundable Conditions

Refunds will not be issued under the following situations:

  • Customer no-show at the pickup location.
  • Last-minute cancellations after the driver has reached the pickup point.
  • Misuse or fraudulent booking activity.

5. Payment Disputes

If you believe you were incorrectly charged, please contact our support team within 48 hours of your trip completion. We will investigate the issue and process adjustments or refunds as appropriate.
